2016 so far...

First of all, we're so sorry about the radio silence! We have been hibernating in the office organising our education projects and summer tour for this year- we have also been hard at work on ideas and concepts for our new show The Ball!

Since we last updated you- we have welcomed a new member to our team. Helen Okoth has joined us as our Learning & Participation Manager who has taken over our education branch! So if you're a school or university- be prepared as you will probably be hearing from her soon!

We are delighted to announce that we received funding for our Young Roots: Anarchy! project with Barton Peverill College, Richard Tauntons College and Fareham College. It is all starting to take shape now and will be commencing any day now! We also received funding for our Winchester: Then and Now project which looks at World War Two and the effects it had on Winchester. This project will be running with primary schools in Winchester and the surrounding area!

It's all very busy and exciting here at Wet Picnic HQ. On top of all that- we are also awaiting a funding decision on our application for The Ball. Fingers Crossed!!

Until the next time...
